Making Bitcoin become Real

Since the beginning of 2014 , I have been giving personal home meetings about bitcoin.   The idea of this project is to make aware those people in my local community.   The project has been received awesomely by those that attend.

My most resent meeting was held this past Saturday.   It was a follow up meeting from last week.(I give this meetings everyone week).   I took this time to do something very different in addition to all my other meetings.  Not only give away some bitcoin, yet also aid my attendee with their very first Bitcoin/crytocurrency purchase.

So I had my attendee get a wallet, using blockchain.org.   This took all about about 10 mins.   So far so good.   Then I sent him some bits.   While this transaction was hashed into the blockchain, I had him register his account with a very reputable bitcoin merchant , Amagi Metals.

am

Once the coins were in his wallet, I had him go pick out a piece of awesome silver.   The silver piece chosen and in cart, now time for check out.   We then proceed to check out and get to several payment options.   Then his see the bitcoin option.   He says with excitement, Oh Kewl, bitcoin.  He clicks on the bitcoin payment and then the payment invoice comes up with payment address.   I have him clipboard the payment key, go back to his blockchain.org wallet, and paste the key into his send payment and click…done.   He then switches back over to the Amagi page and was happy to see the invoice has been paid notice.

All these steps took just under 40mins.

So to recap,  my attendee, setup his first crypto wallet, got free bitcoin, made his first purchasing using bitcoin, and in a few days will have a gorgeous piece of silver to boot.

Now this was a very successful and fun meeting.

I just hope he was truly as excited about this as I was.

None the less, now bitcoin is REAL to him.

The 9th Wonder of the World!

GRAND22

Last week I finally got to witness the awesome beauty of what in some circles is considered the 8th wonder of the world, The Grand Canyon.   I have lived in Arizona now for about 13 years and this was the first time that I was able to make it there.  It was very great indeed.   The vastness of this spacial spectacular is breath taking to say the least.

The one thing that I did not anticipate was all different ethical background of people all brought together to take part in sharing this wonder of nature.   Literately people from all corners of the earth were there on this day.   The funny thing was, I didn’t get to see many Americans there at all.   From Asia to Greece, this places had representatives from many racial walks of life, we all together, in peaceful consideration.   The experience was surreal in a most heart warming way.

I spent about 5 hours there at the Grand Canyon on this day, and this experience will live with me for all time.

Upon reflection of my Grand Canyon trip, I remember how exhilarated I felt when I first learned and understood the power of the blockchain.   By the time I had learned about bitcoin in early 2013, many people from all over the world had been already participating in this community.   All brought together by the nuance of change and growth as well as the possibility of personal liberation unheard of at any point through out the history of mankind.

I truly believe that this technology has the possibility of unifying the people of all nations in the most profoundly of  unique ways.   Not by coercion or manipulated injunction.  Yet, by simply  offering the choice and power to use an idea and technology that is proving day by day to be far more superior then the establish systems that are in use today.

It is my opinion that in consideration of all the progressive changes that the blockchain tech has already made possible and the vast possibility for the future,  the Blockchain is the 9th Wonder of the World.

Curse those who continue to support the current banking system.

You know that a system is totally screwed up when agents and branches of a system do not truth each other.

I will share with you what happened to me again today.

So I go the my bank, which WAS  US Bank.  I deposited my payroll check like I normally do and attempted to withdraw the amount I needed to get a cashiers check.   And guess what.   My so called bank  would only let me cash out a tiny portion of my deposit!!!! Are you kidding me.  Today is the last day of my grace period for rent.  So I said, what gives, I just last month came here to my so called bank and made a similar transaction with no problem.   The counter attendant proceeded to say that someone last time gave a special authorization.  LOL, I told the lady that my rent is due today, give me this so called special authorization then.(keep in mind, last month I did not ask for this “special authorization”).   The lady then says that she can not.  So instead of going postal on this poor lady(she sold her soul to have a job working for the banks) , I told her to close my account.  Of course she attempted to save the account.  But I was extremely adamant in my demand.  So my account is now closed.  Oh how I hate the banking system.  No longer any use at all.  So I go to one of many local check cashing places to cash my check, lol. Banks.

Now the other situation is that my apartment complex management company will only accept Bank cashier checks, lol, once again, they do this because the do not trust money orders or personal check.  They do not even trust Postal money orders!!!!! LMAO.

This is crazy.  Banks are worthless.   The only reason banks are still in existence is because the every day dumb ass believe that banks are still important.  Well I call bullshit.  And curse those that keep supporting the banking system.   One day soon , here in the USA, you will go to your bank and guess what.  The bank will have stolen all your money.   I will laugh.

This is just another reason why I love cryptocurrency.  No transactional bullshit.  With cryptocurreny, I AM IN CONTROL!!
